Libra Season Brings Balance So That We Don’t “Fall”

Okay, that was the best pun I have ever written and I may never be able to top it. But that won’t stop me from trying.

Libra season coincides with the Autumnal Equinox, and honestly, it is a perfect pairing. Do you know that happy, peaceful feeling you get when you see the leaves change, feel the crisp air, and wrap yourself in your favorite cozy sweater? Yeah, that’s no accident. Just as the Autumnal Equinox brings a balance to our days and night, Libra brings a balance to our mood and sense of well-being.

Mercury Is Square Pluto at 5:18 AM

As we wake up, Mercury in Libra forms a square with Pluto in self-important Capricorn. As weird as this may sound, as far as squares go, this is kind of the perfect one for today. I’ll explain. Since today is the autumnal equinox and the first day of Libra season, there is an increased sense of balance. And believe it or not, there is a lot of balance in this square.

Of course, a square-off between belligerent Libra and disdainful Capricorn may bring out our more arrogant tendencies. However, the expressive and strong-willed energy of Mercury and Mars endows us with wonderful leadership qualities. Just be careful not to stroke your own ego too much. That is how mistakes happen

Go ahead and call Libra “Anakin Skywalker,” because it is here to restore balance to the force! After a busy yet exhausting Virgo season, Libra is here to bring us peace and harmony. The solar transition from Virgo to Libra is the ultimate work-life balance.

This evening, the moon in Aries is square with Pluto in Capricorn. Anxiety-inducing Aries and passive-aggressive Capricorn has us feeling a little wobbly and imbalanced. We feel hypersensitive and have a tendency to overthink and hurt our own feelings.

We find ourselves lost in daydreams, but these fantasies may be more woeful than wistful. It may be tempting to distract ourselves by comparing ourselves to others. It is an easy trap to fall into, and one that each and every one of us has struggled with. But it helps to focus on our own qualities and accomplishments.

When earth signs face off with water signs, our thoughts can be muddy. Our minds can be, if you’ll excuse the pun, mercurial and ever-changing. Because our thoughts and opinions are constantly changing at this time, it may seem like we are being deceitful. We are not necessarily lying, our own truth is just unclear. This lack of clarity can cause us to lash out.
