Taurus Is Making Us Feel Bull-Headed!

Conjunction junction, what’s your function? Seriously, how are we going to function with these less-than-ideal transits? This morning, the moon forms a conjunction with Uranus, causing us to be overtly willful and uncooperative. Later the moon forms a square with Saturn, making us discouraged and despondent.

The Moon Is Conjunct Uranus at 3:45 AM

Early this morning, the moon in stubborn Taurus forms an acrimonious conjunction with Uranus, also in Taurus. With this conjunction, we are struggling to find our inner balance. We also may find ourselves falling back into bad habits. With two celestial bodies in Taurus, it may feel like these bulls are butting heads.

Taurus’ uncompromising nature may make it difficult for others to reason or rationalize with us. We are obstinate and immovable. Once we have made up our mind about something, there is very little that someone could say to make us change it. Under this placement, we may be very unresponsive to constructive criticism.

It can be really hard to take advice sometimes — especially when it is unwarranted. But heeding the advice of others may help us see our situation in a new light. If you cannot handle advice or differing opinions at the moment, it is alright to say something along the lines of, “I’m not in a place to accept criticism right now.”

On a lighter note, romantic affairs may pop up at this time. Though our tenacity may make us feel closed off, it is important that we keep our hearts open.

The Moon Is Square Saturn at 4:50 AM

About an hour later, the moon in Taurus forms a melancholy square with Saturn in standoffish Aquarius. Under this square, we are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with our current situation. The stubbornness we felt during the previous transit has not left us.

At this time, we feel plagued with feelings of depression and anxiety, and it is difficult for us to be open and honest with others about our feelings. We also suspect that others are not being open and honest with us. Though these suspicions may be unfounded, they can still make us want to isolate ourselves. This isolation may cause us to push our loved ones away, particularly our professional and romantic partners.

A little alone time can be helpful when we are feeling low. However, it is also important to reach out to others if our depression persists. It may be beneficial to spend some time with a loved one, a spiritual leader, or a licensed professional.
