The Full Moon in Aries Awakens Our Adventurous Side

Last month, Pisces and Aries were playing tug-o-war with the full moon. This month, Aries and Taurus must be playing lunar volleyball, because our emotions and desires keep volleying between two extremes.

When the full moon is in Aries, we have an intense need for adventure. But later, when the moon ventures over to Taurus, we long for home. Today the moon is more mercurial than…well, Mercury.

The Moon Is Sextile Jupiter 1:07 AM

What a time to exist under such a brilliant constellation! In the early morning, the moon in vivacious Aries forms a sextile with Jupiter in compassionate Aquarius. This placement is giving us an optimistic outlook. We are reveling in our popularity and success. We feel beautiful from the inside out and appreciate all the beauty around us.

Now is a great time to build upon the intentions we set and the plans we made earlier. It is also a good time to spread the love around, and direct your energy towards philanthropic causes. You can donate to your favorite charity or take part in some community outreach.

The Moon Is Opposite Mars At 2:32 AM

A little over an hour later, the moon in Aries forms an opposition to Mars in vindictive Libra. Under this placement, we may be particularly excitable. We might be reckless with our decisions, and become belligerent when things do not go according to plan. We may be at odds with an authoritative feminine figure in our lives.

The moon rules our emotions and when it resides in Aries, we can become easily irritated and anxious. Meanwhile, Mars is governing our willpower and how we respond to strong emotions like anger. When these two celestial bodies form an opposition, we can be quick to react to stressful situations in a negative way.

With Aries and Libra fighting against each other, we may feel compelled to bottle up our emotions. Be careful when repressing your feelings. Keeping it all inside now could lead to an outburst later.

The Moon Is Square Pluto 4:50 AM

Later in the morning, the moon in Aries is square with Pluto in Capricorn. Anxiety-inducing Aries and passive-aggressive Capricorn has us feeling a little wobbly and imbalanced. We feel hypersensitive and agitated. We have a tendency to overthink and hurt our own feelings.

We find ourselves lost in daydreams, but these fantasies may be more woeful than wistful. We may be distracting ourselves by comparing ourselves to others. It is an easy trap to fall into, and one that each and every one of us has struggled with. It helps to focus on our own qualities and accomplishments.

Full Moon In Aries at 11:02 AM

As the day progresses, the moon in Aries becomes full. Just as the waves ebb and flow under the full moon, so too will our tears fall under its glow.

This full moon brings with it increased irritability. We desire peace more than anything under this moon, but we are having trouble finding it. Our anxiety is increasing and so is our likelihood of getting our feelings hurt. We have a tendency to lose our temper under this moon.

Thankfully, our passion can also flourish during this time. Channel your intense emotions into more adventurous pursuits that allow you to express yourself.

The Moon Moves Into Taurus at 4:02 PM

This afternoon, the moon moves into cozy Taurus. Under this moon, we desire to be surrounded by our creature comforts. These amenities give us a sense of security.

The moon rules our emotions, and when it resides in this earthy sign, we long for a sense of belonging. We are happy to be at home and surrounded by our family. Lunar Taurus wants you to keep your loved ones close to you.
