The Stars Want Us to Start “Adulting”

Ugh! Now the stars are judging us! The day starts off on a pretty positive note. Two earth signs, Virgo and Taurus, are coming together to keep us grounded. But we have to work hard to keep our feet on the ground because airy Aquarius wants our heads in the clouds. Today, we have to try and find a balance between duty and dalliance.

The Moon Is Trine Uranus at 1:21 PM

Around lunch — or perhaps brunch — the moon in industrious Virgo forms a productive trine with Uranus in determined Taurus. Under this trine, we pay great attention to detail. These two grounded signs are working together to feed our ambition, while simultaneously giving us a down-to-earth view of our current circumstances.

Virgo is allowing us to approach certain situations rationally and logically. While Taurus is motivating us towards innovation. We are thinking outside of the box and looking for new ways to accomplish things.

This transit brings out our leadership qualities. But we do not lead by merely giving orders, we are an active part of the team. We lead by helping and communicating with our co-workers. We are inspiring others with our dedication and originality.

Mercury Is Opposite Jupiter at 9:55 PM

In the evening, Mercury in over-confident Leo forms an opposition with Jupiter in spacey Aquarius. Under this opposition, we can be unreliable. We have a tendency to choose ideology over reality.

Mercury rules our communication. But when it resides in Leo and in this oppositional placement, we can be unclear or inauthentic in our speech. This lack of authenticity is derived from thoughtlessness rather than malice. We do not intend to let others down, we are just stuck in our own minds. But while we are stuck in our heads, our heads are stuck in the clouds. The clouds of Jupiter to be exact.

Jupiter usually governs our personal and professional success, but in this placement we become careless. Aquarius is endowing us with curiosity and recklessness. We are very interested in philosophical and occult literature. We can become so fixated on these studies, that we neglect our real-world commitments.

Wanting to broaden your horizons and expand your mind is not a bad thing. Educate yourself. Do research on the topics that intrigue you. But we must not forget the responsibilities we have to ourselves and to others.

All aspects mentioned here are calculated in Eastern Standard Time. For greater accuracy, convert to your own time zone.
