The Moon in Cancer Wants Us to Find Our Own Level

You know that old saying, “stay wild, moon child?” Well, under lunar Cancer, our motto may become “stay mild, moon child.” Today, the moon forms a square with Neptune in Pisces, enhancing our sensitivity and anxiety. Later, the moon forms a trine with Jupiter, motivating us to be kind and creative. Finally, the moon goes home to Cancer, instilling in us a desire for home and family.

The Moon Is Square Neptune at 2:50 AM

A couple hours after midnight, the moon in high-strung Gemini forms a square with Neptune in escapist Pisces. There is a lot of watery energy in this transit and water seeks the lowest point before finding its own level. Under this square, we may feel a bit unbalanced and passive. We may be particularly sensitive at this time, and our feelings may be easily hurt. Because of this, we may be racked with social anxiety. Imposter syndrome is likely to rear its ugly head under this transit.

We are feeling a lot of negative emotions right now and that can make us want to retreat into our fantasies. A little escapism is okay, but we must remember to keep both feet firmly planted on the ground.

The Moon Is Trine Jupiter at 3:41 PM

Around breakfast time, the moon in Gemini forms a sociable trine with Jupiter in considerate Aquarius. Under this trine, we are experiencing a tremendous amount of personal and professional success. We are optimistic and sincere, enjoying the positive attention that we are attracting.

We are also feeling creative and generous under this transit. Gemini inspires us to express our emotions through poetic mediums. Meanwhile, Aquarius enhances our compassion for others. Try channeling your artistic talents and creating a gift for a loved one.

The Moon Moves into Cancer at 5:14 PM

In the early evening, the moon finds its home in cozy Cancer. Cancer is a water sign and as I said earlier, water seeks its own level. Like Cancer, we also yearn for home and seek our own level. The moon governs our emotions, and during this lunar reunion we are empathetic and in touch with our own needs and feelings. Earlier, we were ambitious and sociable. But now, rest and a sense of belonging are at the forefront of our minds.

Now is a wonderful time to curl up in bed with a good book to read or show to binge-watch. We can unwind with a home-cooked meal or a nice, long bath. Under this moon, it is okay to be a homebody.
